Oh and…
I just realized another vital factor that makes the UK’s Top Gear so wonderful is the way it is shot, its look — cinematography. If the US version cannot match the look the chemistry won’t matter.
Also important is the score. The music of Top Gear is chosen with the hand of Midas, it is all pristinely perfect.
